Duration: 2 Months

From where you did Foreign Training?
I did my FT from University of Leon, Spain. I got an FT from International Relations Foreign Training Programme.
How was your experience?
An awesome experience both academically as well as non academically. My motive was to have research experience outside India so that I can see what closely relate with the people there. FT experience makes you learn some things which you might not learn in India.
How was your Stay in the City?
A stay to remember. The city was beautiful and the people were very kind and helpful.
Do you think there is any role of CG for getting FT? If yes, how it affects?
Yes, it does. when a professor has to shortlist or select he first sees your CG afterwards go through your research experience.
How was the host university in terms of research and campus life?
It was different, technically developed and advanced in research. Freedom to develop and execute thoughts in whichever field you wish to. I think it should be implemented in kgp as well. My motive was to have research experience outside India so that I can see what closely relate with the people there.
What would you suggest to fellow KGPians?
Just aspire and you will definitely succeed. Professors only see your work and your
inclination towards the field, and anyone can have it, just be patient. Don’t get frustrated. If you are not able to achieve it. We have good researchers in India also, you can easily contact them and work under and attain the knowledge.
