"During a visit of Prof. G.P. Raja Sekhar at the University of Bremen in 2015, I learned of the potential opportunity to spend a semester at IIT Kharagpur. I applied for that and came to India in August 2016. During this period I worked on my B.Sc. thesis on series solutions of Darcy-Brinkman flow. In my first week, I joined the IIT KGP football team for practice. They took me in without hesitation, giving me opportunities to play both during practice and in all the friendly matches they played during my stay. Playing alongside so many other talented players in the team, I greatly improved my technique practising with the team and made a lot of friends for life in the process. In my second half of my stay, I started joining friends at Azad Hall to play badminton, a sport that I hadn’t played in years. Apart from physical activities, the campus had so much to offer culturally. I would without any hesitation wish people all over the world had a chance to come experience this beauty of a place called IIT Kharagpur."
