"I was in IIT as a PhD Short Term Research Visitor to complete my PhD research work titled “Fuzzy Rule Driven Data Mining Framework to Knowledge Acquisition for Expert System at Soft Computing Lab, Mechanical Engineering under the mentorship of Prof. D. K. Pratihar. I may wish to start by calling IIT Kharagpur as a Center of Research, Excellence, Peace, Breakthrough, Innovation, Creativity and Hospitality. As someone who never been to in India, talk less of Kolkota or Kharagpur, I was treated like newborn baby throughout my stay at Institute. My mentor Prof. D. K. Pratihar, Counselor Alivia Nag (Mrs), Dean of the Office of International Relations and entire members of the Office of International Relations Cell kept in touch with me throughout my stay at the Institute and they have really helped me a lot. The campus was very peaceful with many good and conductive sports grounds. I made countless friends within a very short of time in the institute, this happened due to the accommodative and hospitable nature of Indians. They have really treated me like one of their family members. So I attended many invited activities on the campus such as Cricket, Foot Ball and Badminton Games Competition, Get to together parties, Hall parties and German Delegation Student Interaction Seminar among others. This was one of the best things I have ever done, meeting new friends, making memories and completing my PhD Research Work was a huge achievement in IIT Kharagpur and was one of my happiest ever. I will be forever grateful to IIT."
