Call for Application for Ritesh Ranjan Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship is instituted to support academically excellent undergraduate students in all branches of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Grant: Rs. 20,000/- for 10 months (July - April)

The scholarship is instituted in the memory of Ritesh Ranjan (ME, B Tech 1997) by his batchmates.

1. Discipline: One Undergraduate student admitted through JEE (Advanced) from 2nd year of B. Tech. (Hons.) and Dual Degree programmes in all branches of Mechanical Engineering Department.
2. Merit Criteria: Applicants with CGPA 8.5 and above up to the previous semester and fulfilling all other criteria will be considered for the scholarship.
3. Means Criteria: Current family income should not exceed INR 15 Lakh per year as assessed by the institute following standard practices.
4. Students with record of disciplinary action against them or with backlog will not be eligible for these scholarships.
5. Eligibility of current recipients will be evaluated at the end of each year and decision on continuation/termination will be made accordingly.
